Kathryn Ian is an interdisciplinary artist based in the Bay Area. She holds an MFA in interdisciplinary studio practice from California College of the Arts (San Francisco, CA), an MA in Intercultural Humanities from Jacobs University (Bremen, Germany), and a BFA in photography from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has exhibited her work in the United States and Europe. Kathryn has also produced six records and performed in Russia, Europe and the United States with the alternative Americana project, Lux Interna. Joshua Levi Ian
Joshua Levi Ian Gentzke is a musician, sound artist, writer, and scholar. Thematically, his work explores the intersections between mystical and esoteric religious discourses, corporeal hermeneutics, and the construction of dissenting identities and ideologies. Joshua holds a Ph.D. in religious studies from Stanford University; M.A.s from both the University of Amsterdam and Stanford; and a B.A. in interdisciplinary studies from SUNY at Buffalo. His work has been supported by the Fulbright Scholar Program, the HSP Huygens Scholarship Program, the Freie Universität Berlin, and the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation. He has published, taught, and lectured extensively on religion, philosophy, and art in Europe and the United States. Alongside his scholarly work, Joshua is the primary songwriter for the alternative Americana project Lux Interna, with which he has performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Russia.
